Excellent info! I learned a few things. BTW...The other important reason to keep the three udders clean is to prevent damaging the wiper motor. If the udders don't drain the water, the wiper motor gets flooded.

Mine is a 2014 and only my right tail light kept going out. I changed the bulb and thought it was fixed. But wasnt. So took it to a shop and they thought they fixed it, but didnt. So 2nd shop said they've been seeing a lot of issues with them. I was told it's because Minis have so much electrical packed into such a small space🤔

Last year, I bought a beautiful ZO6 with 21K on the odometer, adult owned, never been in the rain, yada yada. I love the car, it is Torch Red, black interior, cam, headers, performance clutch, custom wheels etc, car is pristine, not a scratch. Last week, BOTH of my windows stopped working. They will both go down, about an inch, then, HARD STOP. I am a retired helicopter mechanic and have no problem doing the replairs, but, I am a little baffled that BOTH windows did the same thing, the SAME DAY. Have you seen this happen before? I have not opened up the doors yet, was hoping to get some ideas before I open it up. I love your Channel Subbed last year. Thanks for the great, well done videos!

I thought I was the only one who went from owning a Mini Cooper to a C5 😂 the mini taught me how to drive stick, weight transfers, and how to push tire grip to the limit and i definitely would not be able to appreciate or drive my C5 to its potential if I didn’t start where I did!

Painted my wipers and cowl about 2 years ago. Seeing I had to remove it to glue that plastic piece at the top of the cowl, that had detached in spots. I needed your video then Mark 😂 But I think I did a pretty good job for my first try. I also cleaned my 3 drivers side rain ducks, while the cowl was drying. Made it easier to see them. Went the same route. Don’t like the HUD and have learned to NEVER. trust blind spot monitors, period. They can kill you if you trust them. Get the wide angle side mirrors and you are good to go with no blind spot.

My rear has to be painted- they are saying I need new lettering, which is not damaged. Hmmmm- not sure why. If they take it off, can’t they refuse the same lettering?

Looks like a really pretty area. It's wild to see a house done up with cinderblocks, I live in Oklahoma and our foundations are done up with concrete in a wooden frame and the houses are a lot more brick and less wood/siding. It's a shame you couldn't have done a 3 car garage or even a 1-1/2 deep tandem to stuff the mini in there too. If you're able to, pre-wire the house for surround sound/media if you're into home theater.

Keeping up with the "little projects" over time is why a 20 plus year old car can still look showroom fresh - my 50th Anniversary is the same way but I do have to huge advantage of a garage (which also keeps the chipmonks at bay and my wiring intact). Grweat project!

Cargo space in the coupe is amazing. I have a base coupe with the 6spd the standard springs and i don’t mind it at all. Replacing the run flats with normal summer tires made a huge difference.

Just purchased a 2004 commemorative edition ZO6 with 13K miles for 35K. The higher price due to only 2025 being built and excellent condition and service records. It’s a great looking and performance oriented vett.

Thanks for your honest evaluation. Both are awesome cars, and the C7 finally got the interior Corvette buyers deserve. Having said that, I do prefer the C5/C6 gauge cluster, and I’m not crazy about how high the hood bulge is, especially compared to my C5.

Every video ive seen of this stuff has resulted in disappointment and subpar results

I used to think they were overpriced but the attention to detail changed my mind.
